My story began around forty-something years ago, in a far, far away land… ok, not so far, just 5,000 miles, in a city called Lima -Peru, known for their delicious dishes like “Ceviche” and “Lomo Saltado". Anyway, getting back to my story… after 16 years of Peruvian food, my parents moved us (my three sisters and me) to the US.
The short story... Life got complicated, but we adjusted quickly.
It wasn’t until my thirties that I went back to school to start a career in Graphic Design. I loved it. However, before graduating, I took several painting classes. From then on I was hooked. I left school with a degree and a few artist awards under my arm.
It's been more than 20 years since my first brush stroke, and I feel no regrets. Still painting, loving it, and growing as an artist.
A humbling experience.
